About Ricochet
Ricochet is the collector's vault for knives: a price guide, a drops calendar, a set of tools and, soon, a marketplace. The Ricochet iOS app remains the place for drop alerts.
How the price guide works
Every figure on this site comes from one of four places, and we label which one.
- MSRP and specs are facts compiled from public maker and retailer information. Each model lists its sources. Variants, handle options and production runs differ, so always confirm with the maker.
- Secondary-market estimates are Ricochet editorial estimates (Oct 2026), our best judgement of a typical used or aftermarket range. They are informational, are not appraisals, and are not derived from scraped listings.
- User-submitted sales are accepted and moderated, then will feed price history as data accumulates.
- Marketplace sales will be added once the marketplace opens.
What we do not do
- We do not scrape BladeForums, Reddit, eBay or any other site for prices.
- We do not take payments today. A marketplace launches only once a payment processor has approved collector knives.
- We do not use maker logos or imply endorsement. Brand names identify products and nothing more.
- We do not give legal advice. The shipping and carry tool is informational; laws change and vary by city.
